Birth Order vs. Corporate Hiring Best Practices

This has controversy written all over it however, tell me, do you feel it's unethical to hire someone based on their birth order? This is a topic that seems to be popping-up more often.

The reason I ask is because many thoeries claim first born children make excellent organizational leaders. However, not all first born children may and if you've ever taken a psychology class, you'll earn it's easy to tell if someone is a first born or not. Any thoughts or feedback?

Yes, first borns do often make good leaders, and you can pretty easily tell when they are a first born, but it is not a guarantee of success and many other factors come into play in the picture. I would say that much like other factors that play into leadership, it can be one of many items to take into account, but certainly should not be the primary decision-making factor.
